Privacy Policy

This is a personal portfolio site. It's built to be simple, and that extends to how it handles data: it collects almost nothing on its own. Here's exactly what happens when you visit.

What this site does not do

• No analytics or tracking scripts of any kind.
• No cookies set by this site.
• No user accounts, sign-ups, or logins.
• No contact form — reaching out happens over a regular mailto: link, which opens your own email client.

Oshawott, the chat assistant

If you use the Oshawott chat widget, the text you type is sent to a backend service I run to generate a reply. That service is separate from this website's code, and I haven't yet published a detailed accounting of how long it retains conversation data. Until that review is complete, treat anything you type to Oshawott as potentially stored — please don't share anything sensitive with it. Oshawott is entirely optional; the site works fully without it.

Third-party services this site loads

• Vercel hosts this site and, like any web host, may log standard request data (e.g. IP address, requested page) as part of normal server operation.
• Google Fonts is used to load this site's typefaces, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads.
• One project page (MunchMatch) reads a public, read-only visit counter from a Firebase database. It does not write any data about you.

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, live project demos, and similar destinations take you to third-party sites with their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.
